Our Registry
Please don’t feel pressured to give us a gift. We appreciate the time, money, and effort you are spending to celebrate our wedding with us. Your presence is the present, as the saying goes. However, if you would like to give us something to commemorate the occasion, we have provided the following guidance to help point you in the direction of what we would find most meaningful.
-
Handmade Gifts
One of Katie’s most distinguished qualities is her preparedness. Whether for a one-nighter in the Western NC mountains or a 3+ week trip through the Grand Canyon, Katie has repeatedly demonstrated her reliability when it comes to having precisely the piece of gear or equipment needed for a given situation, often with multiple layers of redundancy. The benefits of this quality defy adequate qualification – yet one does not achieve such a heightened state of anticipation without amassing a proportionate collection of “stuff.”
Given this, we would love to receive a unique or handcrafted gift that would serve as a visual reminder of our friendship with you. This could mean something created by your own hands or by those of a local artisan. Form and function are equally appreciated.
You’re welcome to ship items to 209B S. Thompson St. Davidson, NC 28036 or bring them to the wedding!

Family Recipe
The word companion is latin in origin and translates to “one with whom one breaks bread.” Contribute a recipe to our cookbook so that we can break bread with you in spirit despite how vast the physical distance between us may be. Do you have a classic family recipe you would be willing to share with us? Or a new favorite that you’ve just discovered? Hand-written with marginalia preferred, diagrams and unconventional units of measurement encouraged.
You’re welcome to mail hard copies to 209B S. Thompson St. Davidson, NC or upload digitally.
-
Shared Memory or Story
Do you have a memory or story of one (or both) of us that you would be willing to share? Format flexible – these could be hand-written, typed, or a voice recording. We look forward to reading and revisiting these frequently to remember these moments.
You’re welcome to mail hard copies to 209B S. Thompson St. Davidson, NC or upload digitally.
